As I've been busy today I haven't been able to do a new post. As such I have decided to put a list together of some of the artists I listen to. The music genre of experimental electronica is very broad, it can encompass many differing styles of writing and production. Some artists write "music" based on glitch electronica and digital errors that occur in the recording/composition stages. Some artist use field recordings to create soundscapes that are sometimes very real and can create a sense of a actual or synthetic space, where as some artists may use manipulation tools to create new and interesting atmospheres using the same original recording techniques.
As you can see, there are many different ways for people to create experimental music in today's world. Many artists have different production styles based on the music they listened to while growing up. Artists such as Vladislav Delay and Murcof have publicly stated in interviews that their production techniques have been influenced by the music they listened to as kids.
With no further waiting, I will now list some of the music I listen to. I hope you go an take a listen to some of these artists as most if not all will make it onto this blog.
